Update on the postponement of Jack Up the Weekend

A message from the organisers:

Further to the postponement of this Easter’s Jack Up The Weekend concert nights, we’ve been working non-stop around the clock in conjunction with the band manager and promoter for both acts, the venue and production company. Owing to a jampacked tour schedule with many dates outside of the UK it is unfortunately proving impossible to secure a date for a double-headed concert as was originally proposed by the band’s management.

The number one priority for Team Jack Up is to give existing ticket-holders some good news and as such we are pleased to advise that:

Big Country ticket holders:
Your original Big Country tickets will now get you in to see not only Big Country but a whole host of other acts at next year’s Jack Up The Summer festival on Saturday 8th August 2020, as Big Country are now booked to return to the Island on this date.

From The Jam ticket holders:
Your original From The Jam tickets will be honoured when From The Jam return to perform a rescheduled date at Medina Leisure Centre sports hall to be confirmed in the next week.

We appreciate that this is a longer wait than anticipated and don’t want to disappoint. We also promised all ticket holders the chance to see two headline bands for the price of one therefore ALL existing ticket holders will ALSO receive complimentary entry to the Friday night of THIS year’s Jack Up The Summer.

We can exclusively reveal our ‘ULTIMATE SKA WARS’ night on Friday 9th August 2019 will feature the Island’s very own Ska’d for Life going head to head with the mighty Bad Manners! This will be the Ska party to end all Ska parties and is not to be missed!

Details of how and when to purchase regular tickets for this hotly anticipated evening of entertainment will follow soon, but in the meantime if you are a Jack Up The Weekend ticket holder please keep hold of your concert ticket(s) as you get to see the original band you purchased tickets for perform a full headline set PLUS enjoy a full evening of entertainment on Friday 9th August as our way of saying sorry for any inconvenience caused and to thank music fans for their ongoing support.
