Sibling pop band Five Star have been confirmed as the Sunday night headliners of Jack Up The 80s 2016!
The band, whose album Silk and Steel made it to the number 1 spot in 1986 are looking forward to performing hits like Rain Or Shine, System Addict and The Slightest Touch for the first time at Jack Up The 80s on Sunday 14th August.
Joining headliners Five Star on the Sunday of the event is Angie Brown, best known as the vocalist on Bizarre Inc’s hits I’m Gonna Get You and Took My Love. She is returning to Newchurch having played at the Garlic Festival just last year.
Also confirmed are British new wave band Johnny Hates Jazz, who found international success with their hit Shattered Dreams, which made it to the number 5 spot in 1987. They will be performing on the Saturday of the event alongside the previously announced headliner Leo Sayer.
