Rob da Bank has today announced plans to celebrate the life of David Bowie at Camp Bestival later this year. Lulworth Castle, Dorset, will play host to ‘Sound and Vision: A Celebration of David Bowie’, featuring Rob da Bank himself, Lizzie Ball and Classical Kicks Orchestra.
Also confirmed for the event, due to take place between 28th and 31st July, are pop princess Katy B, Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall, British band Squeeze, 80’s female pop due Bananarama and Jamie Lawson, whose song ‘Wasn’t Expecting That’ went to number 1 just last year.
Joining them will be Arrested Development, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, DJ Yoda, Turin Brakes, The Brand New Heavies, Dawn Penn, Loyle Carner, The Cuban Brothers, Duke Special, Tayo & Rob da Bank’s Tribute to Prince, Louis Berry, Sound of the Sirens, The Demon Barbers XL, The Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band, Delilah Sisters, The Scorsese Agreement, Circus Raj and Folk Idol.
They join the previously announced headliners Jess Glynne, Fatboy Slim and 80’s legends Tears For Fears.
